  • Best Team Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration (NCIA) Mediation Moot Competition 2021
  • Part of the team representing Simba & Oryx Limited and Waterfront Beach Properties Limited before the Environment and Land Court in a suit for the recovery of pristine beach properties situated in Kwale County. The value of the suit property is in the region of USD 2,100,000.
  • Part of the team representing the County Government of Kilifi before the Employment and Labour Relations Court in a claim filed by Three Hundred (300) casual workers seeking conversion of casual employment to term contract.
  • Part of the team that successfully defended a leading textile manufacturer in a highly contentious claim before the Employment and Labour Relations Court filed by Tailors and Textile Workers Union. The Union sought, amongst other reliefs, recognition and deduction of union dues.
  • Part of the team representing Kenya Electricity Generating Company PLC in a highly contentious dispute before the Environment and Land Court. The Petitioner seeks inter alia recovery of special damages in the sum of Kes. 2.3 billion on behalf of various residents of Garsen, Galole, Bura, Balambala Fafi and Garissa Township constituencies who claim to have suffered significant loss of life, loss of or damage to property such as land, crops, livestock and infrastructure and considerable damage to their surrounding environment following the flooding which occurred at the downstream parts of Tana River following the higher-than-normal rainfalls which were received in the Country in March, April and May in 2018.
  • Part of the team that successfully defended the interests of Sidian Bank Limited in a long running dispute before the Environment & Land Court in Mombasa. The Claimants, amongst other reliefs, had sought to recover damages in the sum of Kes. 142,806,841.16 from the Bank and the discharge of the Bank’s existing securities. The suit was dismissed with costs.
  • Representing several banks in successfully challenging attempts by borrowers to stop the realization of securities.
