The job market is changing tremendously particularly due to what is now commonly known as the “gig economy”. The most common understanding of gig economy (from an online perspective) is that of collection of markets that match providers to consumers on a gig (a job) basis with on-demand companies providing services to the companies’ clients. Prospective clients request services through an internet-based technological platform or smartphone applications that allow them to search for providers or to specify jobs.
